Prague
A poem I wrote for our school video (introducing our school)a dn was supposed to be about Prague. Which isn't true at all now, but I quite like it I :D
Standing there, sun at my back
Admiring all of the city
Living there, I have that luck
Isn’t this sign just pretty?
Below me sit groups of friends
Hugging in sun’s fading gleam
We all realize this day ends
Just try to catch the last beam
Glance at the roofs beneath us
They seem to glow in this light
Sky is on fire at last
And there comes the curtain of night
Narrow streets become narrower yet
Shadows chase last tourists out
The castle appears as a silhouette
Every word’s awkwardly loud
Lamps at the riverside wake
Monuments’ enlightment too
Game of lights for people’s sake
Glorious nocturnal view
